Document Life Cycle Compliance Management

Life Cycle Compliance Management enables the Digital Workplace records, including the assets managed in ECM-XD, to be intelligently managed from the inception of a record to its final destruction.  The LCCM provides a level of control on business processes, security and data reporting so that the enterprise is acutely aware of the current state of its enterprise digital information and compliance.  Life cycle compliance essentially means managing the record through each distinct phase.

  • Records Management

The flexibility of the system allows various forms of identifiers and the selection of which information will be utilized for different purposes (metatags, copying, querying).  The content platform with embedded functional query management allows records to be retrieved in a variety of ways, incorporating personal preferences.  The query management is a powerful feature that is not only used for configurable dashboard creation, but also can be used to pull specific subsets of data at the field level based on business rules.  This critical feature will uniquely allow organizations to manage their vast amount of records.  In addition, the Digital Workspace can secure information to the field level and supports global as well as granular (field level) audit trails.

The Digital Workplace works in tandem with the Retention Policy Services (RPS) to help regulate the required lifespan of the record under varying compliance mandates and enables the archiving or deletion with traceability of records reaching those dates.

Automated archiving through the retention policy services monitoring or ad-hoc archiving allows the organization to reduce the current operational volumes of information, thereby promoting greater workplace productivity while preserving historical data for compliance needs.
