Historical Controls Database

The Pristima® Suite provides a complete Historical Controls Database (HCDB) as part of its preclinical data management solution.

Historical control data can be very helpful in interpreting the results of a toxicology study, so that the scientist can compare the current study with results from the control animals used in previous experiments.

The Pristima Historical Controls Database is a purpose-built analysis and reporting database designed to accumulate numeric and observational animal, tissue, and sample data from control animals assessed in Pristima, PATH/TOX SYSTEM, or third party data management systems. Using a wide variety of ad-hoc filters and out-of-the-box summary reports, Pristima supports rapid analysis and interpretation by placing comparative information at your fingertips.

Key Features:

  • Populate control data from Pristima PATH/TOX SYSTEM, or data from any third party data management system
  • Build ad-hoc queries using a variety of filters
  • Body weights data collection and analysis
  • Support for key clinical pathology parameters
  • Recording of pathology findings and organ weights
